turkesterone

What if you could naturally build more muscle, get higher immunity, recover from your training many times faster and get stronger than ever before?

VEGAN ANABOLIC SUPPLEMENT

Turkesterone is a vegan plant extract from the plant 'Ajuga Turkestanica'. Turkesterone belongs to the group of Ecdysteroids. Ecdysteroids are naturally occurring steroid hormones from plants and insects. In insects, these hormones mainly play a role in moulting so that the insect can grow. In the plant, on the other hand, it mainly has the role of protecting the plant. It is an effective remedy against plant-eating insects and provides protection against parasites.

The 'Ajuga Turkestanica', the plant with the highest concentration of Turkesterone, has been used in traditional medicine in Uzbekistan for centuries. The Uzbekistans use the plant to treat a variety of ailments such as heart conditions, muscle aches, stomach aches and much more. Research has shown that the 'Ajuga Turkestanica' has pharmacological effects such as: antibacterial, antidiabetic and evidence for muscle growth!

Turkesterone, the active substance, therefore ensures an enormous growth in muscle, strength and recovery capacity because it increases the protein synthesis in your muscle cells. This is the only plant in the world from which a standardized Turkesterone extract of 10% purity can be made.

HOW DOES TURKESTERONE WORK?

Turkesterone therefore increases your protein synthesis, but how does this work exactly? Unlike anabolic steroids, Ecdysteroids DO NOT connect to the Androgen receptors in the muscles. Androgen receptors are generally responsible for muscle growth through Testosterone. Several studies have shown that Ecdysteroids activate the Estrogen Receptor Beta. This is also the immediate explanation that Turkesterone does not have any adverse side effects such as hair loss.

From a German research, carried out by the German Institute for Sport Medicine, among others, has shown that Ecdysteroids make a connection with the Estrogen Receptor Beta, and thus ensure muscle growth. The same institute has in a different research demonstrated that the activation of the 'Estrogen Receptor Beta' plays a major role in muscle growth and regeneration.

In addition to the above investigations, the following research from 2019 ("Ecdysteroids as non-conventional anabolic agent: performance enhancement by ecdysterone supplementation in humans"), demonstrated the anabolic effect of Ecdysteroids and confirmed the conclusions from the two German studies.

In this experiment, 46 volunteers, with 1 year of training experience, participated in a 10-week training program in which a proportion of the participants took 200mg to 800mg Turkesterone / Ecdysterone daily. Part of the group of volunteers received a placebo and part, called the 'Control Group', a dose of Turkesterone / Ecdysterone, but did not train with it. The 200mg group gained 1,58KG of lean muscle mass and the 800mg group gained 2,03KG of lean muscle mass in 10 weeks. The placebo group did not gain muscle and the control group gained 0,25 kg of lean muscle mass.

To determine side effects, both blood and urine samples were extensively examined. The scientists were not able to find any side effects of Turkesterone / Ecdysteroids in this study.

As a conclusion of the study, the researchers advised the WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) to include Ecdysteroid on the doping list. In response to this request, WADA has included Turkesterone / Ecdysterone on their Monitoring Program. This means that the use of Turkesterone is allowed, but that concentrations of Turkesterone are measured when an athlete is monitored.

To capitalize on the performance-enhancing effect of Turkesterone, in the research;"Estrogen receptor beta is involved in skeletal muscle hypertrophy induced by the phytoecdysteroid ecdysterone”, shown that Ecdysteroids mainly have an effect on type II fibers. Here it was found that Ecdysteroids do not so much provide more fibers, but a larger size of type II fibers, in both subtype IIa and IIb fibers. Type II fibers are 'fast twitch' fibers, subtype IIb are absolute fast twitch fibers and subtype IIa are fast twitch fibers with a little more endurance. This means that these fibers are mainly used for short explosive power exercises. This confirms the idea that Turkesterone provides more power and is mainly intended for athletes who need to be able to exert a lot of power and speed in a short time.

IS TURKESTERONE SAFE?

The aforementioned studies suggest that turkesterone is an effective agent, but is it also safe? Various studies have also been carried out for this, which themselves indicate that Turkesterone is safe and does not cause any negative side effects, even with long-term use. Nevertheless, we advise you to stop taking it for at least 8 weeks after 2 weeks of use to reset your body.

In 2021 Biophytis will have a scientific review published which discusses the safety of Ecdysterone / Turkesterone. For example, reference is made to the scientific book: “Invertebrate Endocrinology and Hormonal Heterophylly Experiments” which describes how rats were given 9,000 MG Ecdysterone / Turkesterone per KG body weight. No negative effects were noted. The book also describes a study in which rats were given 2,000 MG Ecdysterone / Turkesterone per KG body weight daily for 35 days. Again, no negative effects were noted.

With a daily dose of 2 to 4 capsules of our Turkesterone, based on an average body weight of 40 to 80 kg, you take 5 mg of Ecdysterone / Turkesterone per kg of body weight. This is nowhere near the amounts used for the above studies. Despite the very low toxicity of Turkesterone, our Turkesterone has been tested in the lab. RECOMMENDED INTAKE

We recommend spreading two to four times a day, one capsule during or after a meal. If this is not possible, we recommend at least taking the capsule with a large glass of water.

The recommended intake is based on a body weight of 40 to 80 kg. Ultimately, it is recommended to take at least 5mg Turkesterone extract, 10% purity, per kg of body weight per day for noticeable results. We recommend building this up within a period of 2 weeks.

ORIGIN OF AJUGA TURKESTANICA

We know what Turkesterone can possibly do, but where does the plant responsible for the extract actually come from? The Ajuga Turkestanica only grows on some remote mountain slopes in Uzbekistan and to a lesser extent in quantity and quality in Tajikistan. This is therefore the only country where this 10% pure extract can come from. Only a handful of labs are certified and capable of making a standardized extract of 10% Turkesterone. Various institutes have tried unsuccessfully several times to grow the plant in Europe and the US. The plant dies or simply does not produce a quality extract anywhere near. So you can imagine how difficult and time consuming it is to be able to offer the REAL extract. For this reason, unfortunately, many fake Turkesterone products are put on the market. With us you are assured of a real 10% Turkesterone extract directly from Uzbekistan!

EXTREMELY IMPROVED RECORDING!

Although the real extract has a special and impressive effect as a powder alone, it is generally known that plant extracts are difficult to absorb by the body. This is partly because plant extracts are difficult to dissolve in water. That's why our extract is mixed with 'Amberkick'. This is a simple flavor enhancer and antioxidant, also known as 'succinic acid' under the E number E363, which aims to completely dissolve the extract in water.

Amberkick is used by many food manufacturers as a flavor enhancer, occurs naturally in Broccoli, Rhubarb and Sugar Beet, is used in acne-fighting skin products and has a range of other health benefits.
